That's great news. Fantastic to see Heather responding to Laura's recent form by equalling her feat of reaching a final and catching right back up to her in the rankings. Both will be in the 50's next week.
And in the Doubles final too. Between them these two just keep on breaking records. The future is very bright for British tennis.

Well women's tennis anyway! Very well done to both.

Well the future for the next 3-5 years is quite bright for the men's side as well.

If Heather wins tomorrow she'll be in the top 50, overtake Laura and (I think) push Laura back out of the top 50

Brilliant, well done Heather! It will be very interesting to see how she gets on tomorrow v Chang in the final. Chang clearly a fighter -
Yesterday Chang (official WR 134) v Robson (56) 6-4 3-6 7-6. Both won 97/194 points
Today Chang v Stosur (9) 6-4 4-6 7-6. Chang 108/214 points, Stosur 106/214

Yes, Heather will move to 49 if she wins which will push Laura back to 51.

A double British final day will be neat or triple with Heather's 2, Andy's 1, ..and Colin & Ross were so close to making it as well - how amazing would that have been!

I'm not really into the womens' game - but always chuffed to see the Brits doing well.

The women's game will keep us all busy in a bout 7 years time after Andy's retired. No sign of any upcoming male stars.
Life without Andy? Unimaginable, but I'm sure he'll be working 'in the game' for the rest of his life.

Gawd - You just made me realise what a piece of history we're all contributing to here. However, Andy came out of nowhere, so let's pray another hopeful British male does the same. That way, we can have wheelchair races!
