Apart from Robson, 16 year old Heather Watson from Guernsey looks to be the British junior to look out for. Her juniors ranking is 23 (and will rise to 20 when the ranking are updated) after winning a grade 1 tournament in Mexico then following it up by reaching the final of another grade 1 tournament, The Eddie Herr in Miami. This week she is the 5th seed at the International Casablanca Junior Cup in Mexico. She has already reached R2 after double bagelling her opponent. After this week she'll head to Australia for two tournament including the Juniors Australian Open where sh'll be seeded at least 12thITF Junior profile |

The women need a ranking win in 3 different tournament to get a ranking. This was Heather's 3rd. Also the points from the lower ITF events get put on the ranking a week after the tournament finishes. So Heather will get put on the rankings next Monday.
