After watching Heather closely for the first time at the U.S. Open
I think she is a really great prospect for the future.

into the final of 75k challenger in shrewsbury.
will go to a career high 88 regardless of what happens.

What would her ranking be if she won the final?

Went down in the final today 0-6 3-6

well done Heather on a very productive week. Barthel has been on a superb run of late and it looks as though the result was compounded by Heather not playing to her best.

Still, a career high of 88 or so next week.

Wow - thanks Allan. I had to go out when she was 3-0 down in 3rd set, and came back expecting to see she'd lost!

Does anyone know why Heather got a wild card into the main draw, while Anne and Laura had to play qualifiers?

Probably Heather's management company have something to do with the tournament organisation.
