It's great that Henman has finally won a match! I really hope he can get back into the top ten, although I know that'll be hard. Hopefully he'll be back at his best by Wimbledon and then he can finally win it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it would be great wouldn't it?!! after all the stick the press give him. Do they realise that he's been in the top 10 for years - ALONE???
i really hope that he goes out on a high rather than a low
cmon tiger tim!!

Just been checking out Tim's website/had weekly newsletter and he sounds like he was really looking forward to getting back on the circuit. I'd like him to get recognition for what he's achieved but I feel that he will be judged only on what he's achieved at Wimbledon!

:? That would be great, wouldn't it?
But I'm a member of Tim's website and get all the mails. I'm delighted he's won, but I'm afraid that from the end of last year his fitness will always be suspect.
He has a couple of degenerative discs in his back, which will not get better. It's a case of strengthening his back muscles to maximise his mobility.
But it'll always be in his mind that he'll be knocked sideways yet again by his dodgy back.
I think any realistic attempt on a Slam or a Masters have gone.
And I'm not at all happy to write this way. Tim has been a great ambassador for British Tennis. He's been mauled by both the media and people who know diddly squat about tennis.
Thanks for the last ten years, Tim.

Looks like Tim will be playing Radek Stepanek in the next round, Andy's beaten him a couple of times, surely Tim shouldn't have any problems seeing him off, I hope so, Stepanek is at the bottom of my list of players to support.

yeah but stepanek is ranked above henman!
also this is a perfect match to compare the abilities of henman and murray, seeing as murray beat stepanek in straight sets at wimbledon!

According to the BBC, he should be on at about 8.
Gonna be torture following it though, unless the folks in Vienna have made some serious improvements to the scoreboard!!

Took me a while to work that out... didn't matter though. I'd just been using F5 instead.
