He can say whatever he wants. Del Potro just destroyed Ginepri, who is a competent hard-courter.

It's also a reasonably slow court, which would favour JMDP. There is lots of reasoning.

Thats what i was thinking, JMDP has too much firepower for tim, we shall see.

Dave have i ever critisized, accused or slagged off Henman? NO!

It's my personal opinion - his game doesn't interest me. Serve and volley - great, if that's what interests you in tennis than good for you! It's a sport full of amazing variety and each fan picks what they like.

Plus, all the excuses that Tim has thought of in his life time..  And - i do not support players because they have GBR next to their name, you should know that by now. Wink

He's a great man otherwise. Done a hell of a lot. goodjob

If that's your personal opinion that's fine, everyone there own Smile but I don't think you should accuse Henman for his excuses... All tennis players use 'excuses' or things that sound like excuses but might actually be true.. And if there's someone who's good at excuses..I'm sorry, but that would be Andy himself!

It's true, but either you love serve/volley or you hate it. I love it and I also adore Tim for still keeping it alive. I think he's a great guy.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I know that. There's a good chance Tim will lose tomorrow, but I just hope he doesn't.

I hope so. It'll die eventually. Every coach would advise against it.

it must not die.... i'll train my children... have 5 of em... get em all to be serve and volleyers from birth... they'll win slams... and people will ask: "how do they do it?"

(i wish my kids could pull that off....)

No, but i have researched him a bit and have come to the conclusion that he has some firepower. Stop trying to be clever.
