I'll go for JMDP in 3 close sets.

He can say whatever he wants. Del Potro just destroyed Ginepri, who is a competent hard-courter.
It's also a reasonably slow court, which would favour JMDP. There is lots of reasoning.

Del Potro isn't easy for Henman to beat and I guess I'm not thinking with my brains when saying he will win. But I still hope he can do it.

but as dentie said.... we will see....
and julia... you want henman to go away BAD dont you? how can we say his career is at a horrible end when so many people only DREAM of making it to the top 60 at any point in their lives, and timmy is still there at 31?

Dave have i ever critisized, accused or slagged off Henman? NO!
It's my personal opinion - his game doesn't interest me. Serve and volley - great, if that's what interests you in tennis than good for you! It's a sport full of amazing variety and each fan picks what they like.
Plus, all the excuses that Tim has thought of in his life time.. And - i do not support players because they have GBR next to their name, you should know that by now.
He's a great man otherwise. Done a hell of a lot.

i wasnt saying you were slagging him off... just makes me wanna cry that people think he should retire.... and of course i know you dont support brits just cause they are brits....
i'm just asking why you want him to go away so much...
never said anything like what you explained up there...

That's settled then.
To be honest, it's not that i WANT him to retire it's the fact that people think he's still top 10 material.. rubbish. He's done his bit, it's over. Finish on a high and enjoy your life.. but noooo, he was nearly ranked low enough to have to qualify for some tournaments.
Of course no one can retire in Aggi's style - but to us Tim's up there so i wish he would take pride in that
