ATL,

Thank you. I didn't see and the BBC report sounded as if it was for him but gave no detail. If you saw the match and it was not an Aljaz MTO then he may be just saving himself for Melbourne having a tired body from a lot of tennis and some travel tiredness?

I didn't see the Querry match in Auckland so I've no idea what the issue is with Alijaz.

But he played a lot of unnecessarily long matches in Chennai, the one against Coric in particular, during which Coric took an MTO supposedly for stomach issues.

MA - I thought that MTO was for Coric who was apparently having some stomach issues?

Think Alijaz may just have played too many long matches of late and maybe has a niggle he doesn't want to make worse before Melbourne.

I agree, I thought the MTO was for Coric.

Bedene injured his leg (not sure what part specifically). He had an MRI a day or two ago, not sure what the outcome was. He's a doubt for the AO.

Sounds like it isn't serious. He's drawn to met Steve Johnson in round 1 and is playing doubles with Dustin Brown.

Luckily the MRI results were positive & I'll be 100% for the @AustralianOpen it's just a little bruised, but nothing major! #BringIt

That's a relief. Hopefully it'll be fully healed by the time he plays his match.
