Wow! All three Brits into round 2 of the challengers against (arguably) better players, all impressive wins.
Great result for James, really hope he can kickstart his season now. He has a lot of points to defend come the summer.
Plays the qualifier up and coming Portuguese player Pedro Sousa in the 2nd round, who's ranked below James.

On court now against Sousa if anyone's interested. 2-3 opening set, on serve so far. Can't find any streams unfortunately.

Aye disappointing result. He just can't find any consistency. Seems to either turn up and play really well or go down in straight sets regardless who he plays. Seems to be all in his head. :/
Didn't realise Sousa was in such great form though. Always get confused between him and his Brazilian almost-namesake.

James seems to have recovered from the back spasm that kept him out of Davis Cup and in the next few hours begins the 1st of 3 tournament in Chinese Taipei.
Assuming his back to normal then I'm expecting wins and a return to decent form.

Noticed he was top seed in the Taiwan Futures. One of just five Europeans playing! Didn't know there were so many players from Taiwan. Are the other two tournaments Futures as well? And where do you get this info from?

Win number 1 for James 0&3 over an unranked guy. And all of the other seeds in his falf of the draw are out. This week and next week asre Futures and the 3rd week is a big Challenger event. Well there are draws and OOPs on the ATP site. I knew he had a back spasm as he tweeted about it last week. Got today's result from men tennis forum (that's were the ATP and Challenger entry lists tend to be posted as well).

I use the ATP site, but that doesn't normally update until the Sunday, or Monday (some of the Futures draws weren't even listed until yesterday). Just wondering how you know his schedule for the next couple of weeks? Twitter?

Won his 2nd round match 4 & 1. Plays an unranked New-Zealander in the QFs.

Who is making his comeback from injury which kept him out for a year. He was ranked 217 in July 2010

I noticed he was under a protected ranking, didn't think it was that high though.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Back in action at last - won 1st round qualifying in Chennai earlier today (rained off yeaterday), plays 2nd round in an hour or so.
Won his 2nd match as well, so qualifies for the main draw. Now at 246, and just one point behind UK no 2 Jamie Baker.
Edit again - there's a 3rd round of qualifying...
