A new year, a new start for Baker. He's in Glasgow this week for the first British Futures tournament of the year where they'll play 8th seed Frederic Jeanclaude

Good to get an update from the man himself. Smile

That semi result ended Col Fleming's 24 match winning streak in doubles, he hadn't lost since October.

Looks like another long lay off for Jamie! Frown

Chris Eaton has been handed a chance to play himself into Britain’s Davis Cup team to face Ukraine in Glasgow next month.

The only British man to win a round at Wimbledon last summer, apart from Murray, has been added to the six-man play-off event at Roehampton the week after next to assess players for the second singles spot.

He comes in for the unfortunate Scot Jamie Baker, who is on crutches after suffering a stress fracture in his foot.

After returning in June, Jamie's currently in Future's action in South Korea where he's reached the semi-finals. His best tournament sice he last won a Futures event 17 months ago.  yay

Hopefully this signals the renaissance of Jamie's career to near where it was 17 months ago. Smile
