Over the last 3 weeks Jamie's been playing in a series of Futures events in Thailand. In the first two of them he reached the semi-finals and on both occasions he lost to Milos Raonic (the guy that almost beat Gonzo in Montreaal).

In the 3rd event he played Raonic, yet again, in the semi-final but this time he beat him.  cmon yeah In the final he beat Dan Turner-King to claim his first Futures title for 18 months. yay trophy

Now in Australia Jamie reached a Futures final last week after a marathon semi-final and now reached the final again this week.

He's going to be back in the top 500 very soon.  yay

I too have been watching Jamie's dramatic progress from 794th in the world about 2 months ago to the latest win (Wahay!) earlier today and as you say will be in the high 300's on Monday next.

He has another Aussie Futures F8 next week which hopefully he will do as well in to climb even higher up the rankings.

C'mon Jamie C'mon Jamie trophy trophy

He was never 982 though! He's a good hard working guy and I hope this really is him on his way back. Major hard luck for him.

He was but due the lack of matches thanks to health/fitness issues.

Between Wimbly last year and Wimbly this year he only played 21 matches winning 6 of them. Since the startof June he's played 44 matches winning 34 of them.

What I meant was that he was never that level, hence the monumental rise. Not that I didn't believe you! Wink
