It looks pretty bad...

Anne aims to come back in February in a protected ranking.

I'm always worried that Andy will tear an ACL or something like that with the explosive movement that he possesses.
Get well soon Anne, maybe the British media will sit up and take notice that you are the best hope we have in the womens side at the moment.

I am hoping that all those Nx400m sprints and other running exercises around the court would have strengthened Andy's muscles and minimises the chance of any injury.
However, in general, I do agree with you Andrew that letting the opponent dictate the point which forces Andy to run around increases the risk for injury. Let's hope Andy controls more of the points on HC and win more quickly.

Great article Shooting Star. Anne sounds pretty positive and it appears her rehab is progressing nicely. I am hopeful for her comeback. I like the fact that most people wouldn't know about her bad knee watching her practise. This is a good sign.

Am I missing the thread for Anne? Can't find one...
I just heard that she lost today, but that her grandmother passed away yesterday. She said that she tried to focus, but that tennis didn't seem very important

I don't think there is a particular thread for Anne. She did lost today but that's the first I've heard about her grandmother.
.
I've read a few articles that have now said that.
