6-2 4-5 against Laura's serve. Both women seem to be having trouble holding their serve so a break is likely here.

She apparently had a bit of a strop in the second set, shouting out "I hate these socks" when she missed a shot, maybe they tripped her up.
Hahaha...

Laura Robson's hopes of a place in the main draw of the US Open disappeared after the British teenager in the final round of qualifying in New York.
Robson, 16, led her Spanish opponent Nuria Llagostera Vives 3-1 in the deciding set of their encounter.
But she lost the next five games in a row to fall to a 6-2 4-6 3-6 defeat.

Hard luck Laura.

Thanks Bev. It appears that Laura succumbed to some gamemanship from her opponent there. Hopefully she will gain from this experience and not fall for similar tricks in the future.
======================
The Spaniard, 30, who has won two WTA Tour titles, used all her experience in the decider to break Robson's rhythm, towelling herself down at the back of the court when the Briton was ready to serve.

Britain's Laura Robson retired from her second-round match at the Japan Open, with the reason as yet unknown.
The 16-year-old trailed Frenchwoman Severine Beltrame 6-3 0-1 at the ITF event in Tokyo when she pulled out.
Robson, ranked 212, had beaten American sixth seed and world number 108 Christina McHale in round one to close in on a place in the world's top 200.
She came through qualifying to reach the main draw at last month's WTA Pan Pacific Open, also in Tokyo.

It's an amazing story. She retired at about 26 in the mid-90s, then launched a comeback a couple of years ago. She's beaten Sharapova and one or two other big names.
