Harsh! What makes you say that - have you seen her play?
yea but there has been many girls that have won junior GS's but never made it on the women's tour. No doubt she has potential but she's too young for all this media attention and pressure. I think we should just give the girl some time until she appears on the women's tour, instead of creating high expectations (which the British tend to do a lot).

She has already won a senior title. I don't think she has been overhyped, no one has said she will definitely win a GS. It think it is almost certain she will be a top 50 player, but very difficult to predict how much further than that she can go.

she has indeed - I watched her do it... She definitely has the skills, although it is definitely early days yet. She seems pretty down to earth though, so it obviously hasn't gone to her head yet!

I think what Elle means is that anything can happen. Andy himself lost almost 12 months out of 24 through injury when he was 16 and at that age, it is a lottery whether you will come straight back and play almost as well. Fortunately Andy and Tsonga have done so but one injury can ruin a fledgling career especially at that age. Saying she'll almost certainly make the top 50 or top 20 as Sam Smith has said is hyping up whether the statistics make it likely or not.
Presently, her lateral movement is poor as is her second serve and both need to improve markedly for her to get into the top 50 but both of these are very fixable unless she has a persistent injury problem like a shoulder or knee.
As an example, Tsonga's younger, taller and bigger countryman Josselyn Ouanna has only recently got into the top 200 despite being better than JWT and being a year younger only 5 or 6 years ago and this has been because of persistent injury trouble.

Into the quarters with a 6-4 6-2 win. Hopefully Heather Watson will join her there.

Yeah, I remembered that.
Looks like Robson got a bit lucky with the retirement. No idea what must have happened if she was 5-2 down. Odd.

Her opponent got an ankle injury - pretty gutting for her as they would have postponed the match if she had won the second set due to the extreme heat policy. In the end the doctor had to force her to stop playing for her own good :S - bbc article:
