Great aggression Laura! Who cares if she doesn't miss just keep hitting it at her!
Shes got her aggressiob\n back now but shame she dropped off a bit.
Still its easy for us sitting watching to talk. Shes desperate to win and is trying hard.

OK great serving and play by Hsieh there to clinch it. Six 1st serves in the final game, she deserved it more than Laura in the end.

Not to be, this time.
Poor Laura will be gutted, especially since she had the break of serve. She's very young though, and has a great future ahead of her.

I really like Hsieh's play never seen her before, you can see she's naturally talented. If she had a decent serve and probably better mentality (from what I've seen) she would have been a force in women's game.

I think I've only ever seen Li Na play out of all the Asian players.

At the end of the day, Laura just can't afford to serve that badly. Especially not in a final. It's a mental problem she needs to overcome and I hope she can tame it but I know how difficult it can be.

Hsieh did up her game a lot on her serve though, which I wasn't expecting to happen
at 3-0 up it just looked so promising.

Laura will be gutted, I'm sure, but she has plenty of time.
The big difference, I think, was inexperience. She'll learn though, and it will make her better in the long run.
Laura did so well to come back in the second set, and looked like she'd got it in the third, until the opponent lifted her game again.
Great match though, and Laura had some fine wins along the way. Of course, the media will say she 'failed' to win, but the fact is that she's done a damned sight better than any of our other women in singles for years, just in getting to the final, so she can learn from this and move forward.

Pity.
Well done to Laura for saving all those set points in the 2nd and forcing a 3rd set.

Well done Laura for getting to the final. It looks like they have started on Laura as they did with Andy. 'We still have to wait for a WTA win as we have not had one since 1988.' I just wish they would leave them alone and not put on this pressure. I have recorded the match and will watch later.
