If we could combine Heather and Laura into one player we would have a world beater!
What if that combination was a fairly slow mover without any major weapons?

Do you mean three seeded players? Only top 10 player she has beaten is Li Na to my recollection. But I agree with your post. Oops. Thanks for the correction TMH

Oh if we're combining people can I combine Raonic's serve to Murray's game. I think he would pretty much win every game of tennis he ever played then :P

Did anyone see Heather Watson's match against Sharapova today? It was great. Heather fought really hard, winning the first set on the tie-break.
Sharapova had an acute case of double faultitus again. I think she was getting frustrated with Heather being so stubborn as well.
Sadly Heather lost in 3 sets, but it was a very, very long match. I think she just got tired in the end more than anything.

Yeah I wouldn't really want that. But I imagine it's possible it could happen one day like that, where somebody is just impossible to beat.

I didn't see it, but reports I've seen have been full of praise for Heather. By the way, Sharapova served an astonishing 14 DFs.

Robson is through to the 2nd round of the China Open to play a qualifier after defeating the 42 year old Kimiko Date-Krumm 6-4 6-4.
Date-Krumm is a former world no. 4, although that was back in 1995!
A couple more wins could see Laura move into the top 50.

Great news. Laura is on a run now. Brad Gilbert predicted that Laura will end the year in the top 40. Let's see how accurate he is.

That's fantastic news. Laura is on a great run, isn't she? Great to see it happening for her.
