Did anyone see Heather Watson's match against Sharapova today? It was great. Heather fought really hard, winning the first set on the tie-break.
Sharapova had an acute case of double faultitus again. I think she was getting frustrated with Heather being so stubborn as well.
Sadly Heather lost in 3 sets, but it was a very, very long match. I think she just got tired in the end more than anything.

Yeah I wouldn't really want that. But I imagine it's possible it could happen one day like that, where somebody is just impossible to beat. |

I didn't see it, but reports I've seen have been full of praise for Heather. By the way, Sharapova served an astonishing 14 DFs. |

Robson is through to the 2nd round of the China Open to play a qualifier after defeating the 42 year old Kimiko Date-Krumm 6-4 6-4.
Date-Krumm is a former world no. 4, although that was back in 1995!
A couple more wins could see Laura move into the top 50.

Great news. Laura is on a run now. Brad Gilbert predicted that Laura will end the year in the top 40. Let's see how accurate he is.
