It is, nonetheless, a form of wit!

Was just about to post that haha. Didn't realise Laura and Eugenie Bouchard were close friends, with Heather too it would seem.
Laura and Eugenie have been close friends for years-I've seen pictures of the 2 of them taken years ago,and they attended the same tennis academy in France as well.I also read that Eugenie stayed at Laura's house during Wimbledon, but I don't know whether that's true.
Love the video, made me roar laughing. So nice to see that as well as being such good tennis players, they're also able to just be teenage girls, having fun with friends.

They're the two hottest prospects on the women's side as well. I wonder if we'll see a Murray/Djokovic type friendship/rivalry in the future.

I know,it'll be interesting to see how it works out!
I hope for their sake that they remain friends.I know it must be difficult to go out and compete against your friends-I think we've all seen that article that appeared during the USO,in which Djokovic said he and Andy won't be able to be friends until they're not competing anymore.I thought it was sad to see!
But Andy and Novak's friendship has seemed to sort of ebb and flow over the years as they competed, whereas Laura and Eugenie, from what I understand, have been best friends for years now.I know,of course, that they haven't even begun to get close to competing against each other on the level that Andy and Novak do,so their friendship hasn't had to come up against that yet.
Still,I hope they manage it-they've been close for years, and it would be a shame if that disappeared in the name of competition.Tennis careers inevitably have to end at some point, but close friendships can last a lifetime.

Sorry.. nothing to do with Laura.
Just wanted to let you know of someone else who calls himself 'sarcastic.' Someone we all like very much.
Earlier this year, Andy answered questions sent in from fans, one of which was from non other than our very own JohnnieK.
John's question: "If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?"
Andy's answer: "Driven... sarcastic... funny."

Laura should be laughing anyway - no other seeded players left in her half except Sam Stosur, who she ought to meet in the SF. Plays Zhou (WR 228) on Thursday.
Heather plays 6th seed Medina Garrigues, also on Thursday

Yep - Laura should get to the semis and, if so, she'll be in the top 50

Alright, no need to put pressure on her. Just being seeded/ranked to reach a particular round is no guarantee.
