Laura's pretty chokey, if we're honest.

Something she probably learned from Murray's early days. Wink

What a chance that would of been had Laura beaten Kanepi and Lisicki.

Radwanska, Lisicki, Bartoli and Flipkens are the semifinalists this year. All never won a Slam before.

I think Laura is doing well but she will have to learn about losing too. I think she expects to win everything unfortunately life is not like that. It will take a few years for her to reach her full potential. She will have to train hard and be committed to the game it does not just happen overnight. All she has to do is look at Andy if she is prepared to do that then she will be a fine player.

Laura wouldn't have beaten Lisicki though, she could have defeating Kanepi but not Sabine.

In slam finals before last year's Wimbledon, I'd argue so.

Don't you have to be in a strong winning position in order to choke (think Coria in the 2004 RG final)? Think

She didn't play as good as we know she can, but she did 'the best she could' on the day! It's so easy to be an armchair critic.........I'm just sorry to see her go!  Frown

She's far more confident than she was a year ago. Served it out pretty well until the last match, but seemed particularly nervous when she got close to winning the set.

Yeah, what a chance if she'd beaten Kanepi, Lisicki, Radwanska and Bartoli. She would be in a good position then. Because it would have been well straightforward to win all of those matches.

I don't this whole 'what if' thing. Laura was only favourite (in reality, not with the bloody bookies) for one of her matches. She did very well to get to where she did. She never had a great chance of winning Wimbledon like some of the media seemed to believe, because right now she's nowhere near good (or consistent enough). She should be praised for getting where she did, but instead after every win it was always immediately 'what if this happens' 'should win this match' 'could win the whole thing'.

Hope Lisicki wins her next match, and then goes on to win the final.

I'd like Lisicki to win the title but would be equally as happy with Aga did it. Aga reminds me so much of Andy back in 2008-2010.

Either way, I'll be rooting for the winner of their semi-final.

I hope Lisicki wins it if not then Aga as she reminds me so much of Andy. The only reason I'd pick Lisicki over Aga is Heather Watson did a piece for the papers just before the tourney started, and she mentioned that the Williams sisters and Aga snub all of the younger lower ranked players in the locker rooms. That put me of Aga winning Wimbledon. Especially being as she's not won a Slam herself yet rude beyond belief. Don't get me wrong i know that that sort of thing goes on,but i don't like it. Heather didn't like it much either and said she could never be like that as she's not like that. And I noticed yesterday when the ladies turned up for there matches they have to have there bags searched before entering the Wimbledon grounds, and Serena completely blanked the guy who was searching her bag. No thank you nothing. Lisicki on the other hand could not have been nicer laughing and chatting thank you and eye contact.Don't like these players that get above themselves.
