Exactly - that last set flew by.  Lina may have beaten have twice this year, but Laura's taking her seeding seriously.  This could be fun w00t clap

Phenomenal play from Robson against Garcia. True grit and superb timing to seal the deal in two after the TB. She'll get a great lift from this.

The first tie-break she's won this year too!

It was indeed. Generally I think it is more reliable these days.

I think Laura is growing in to herself quite nicely. She reminds me of Andy in a way in that she's confident, but not arrogant. She also loves the big stage, another Andy trait.

Thanks Elena, I'd kind of lost track of her progress, being overtaken by Heather falling to Date-Krumm.

Unfortunately Laura Lost to Jie Zheng.

Wins first set at a canter, loses a tight second set, falls apart in the third.

Been a common theme throughout 2013 outside the major tournaments. Really struggles to regroup.

Laura plays Ayumi Morita in Tokyo tomorrow. Coverage on Tennis TV, but match scheduled for around 4.30am UK time! Good luck Laura

Winner plays Jankovic.

This is a tough section of the draw personally, the winner of Laura/Ayumi-Jankovic will play Sloane Stephens, who I utterly adore. So I won't know who to root for if Laura beat Jelena.
