Dominic Inglot managed to qualify for the main draw in St Petersburg where he played Fabio Fognini today, unfortunately for Dom he lost 6-4 6-4. Still a good effort.

^^ Dom had a good run in the doubles though, losing in the finals to Marrero & Verdasco

Evo playing in Napa this week.  Plays 5th seed Bradley Klahn (who he lost to last month in a close match, the final at Aptos). Brits no 4 Dan Cox, and 7 Ed Corrie also playing, and maybe more

James Ward is playing in Uzbekistan. According to reports and pics from Davis Cup he has had a wrist problem - hope that's sorted and that he has a good end of year run, with no points to defend

Milton loses in Qualies to 17yo Kokkinakis (no suprises there, Josh has been playing horrible all year and Kokkinakis is a hell of a talent) whilst Smethurst lost to a nobody in the 800s.

Corrie thrashed 0&2 by Kudla.

At least there is some good news from California, as Dan Cox continued his fine form with a 6&1 win over Ben Mitchell for his first challenger win since 2011.

In Uzbekistan - Kudryavtsev beat Ward this morning : 6-7 6-3 6-4

In Napa - Evo v Klahn at  1-1 in 3rd set.

Stuart Fraser ‏@stu_fraser From Flushing Meadows to Napa Valley. Bit of a contrast for Dan Evans but this is where the foundations are laid.

Pity - after more than 2hrs, 5th seed Klahn takes 4th match point and wins 6-3 3-6 7-5.

Some horrendous draws for the Brits in the US. Evans draws the 5th seed again, this time Houston semi-finalist Rhyne Williams, whilst Dan Cox gets top seed Kudla (who Corrie got last week).

Corrie got thrashed by 17yo Kokkinakis and Smethurst lost to a college player.

Also not sure if it got a mention, but Golding recently had surgery for a double sports hernia so will most probably the rest of 2013, like Andy. Really struggling to get his career kick-started. Hopefully he can make some inroads in 2014 after a good rest.

Seems to be in good spirits at least.

Well done to Dan Cox, knocking out the 1st seed Denis Kudla WR95 in Sacramento Challenger 7-5 6-0. Horrible game at 5-5 with DFs etc, but he held on, and won the next seven!

Nice to see Evo watching at one point, amongst other Brit supporters. He'll play tomorrow presumably

Don't know much about Dan C but he's made his way up to GB no 4. MH will know more I expect! The live feed and commentary is great from these US challengers

Adidas are missing a trick here - they could've had a sponsorship deal, 3 stripes on the sleeves. Plenty space for an Aegon ad patch as well.

Good start for Evo against 5th seed Rhyne Williams, leading 4 -1 in under 15 minutes. Has won 17 of the 23 points played!

Brilliant! Very efficient match from Evo v Rhynne Williams (WR 124) winning 6-3 7-6. Brilliant first set, tight 2nd set with no break points but Dan takes TB 7-2. Some entertaining tennis there!

That was good news to wake up to. I was too tired to stay awake to follow the live scores.

That's fantastic news about Dan. I love how he has got his act together lately, it suits him.
