Jamie Baker seeded 6th for Leon Challenger this week. Alex Ward and Chris Eaton also playing. Baker plays an alternate in R1. Hopefully he can make use of his seeding and reach the QFs at least.
If Jamie reaches his seeding in Leon then he'll be at a career high ranking. A semi-final would mean that he'd break into the top 200 for the 1st time.

Chris won the 2nd set against the 3rd seed in Leon (who's ranked 173) but lost in 3 sets.

Ward got 4 more games against him than Evans did about 6 or so weeks ago.

A 3 set opening round loss for Baker against last year's US college athlete of the year, John-Patrick Smith. 6-4 6-7(0) 6-3. Smith served for the match in the 2nd set and Jamie managed to break him so the match could have been a straight sets loss.

Wow, pretty poor turnout from the British boys in Leon. Jamie unable to take advantage of a rare seeding. Disappointing.

The sites that I use for results and stuff are twitter, the ITF site and the forum on britishtennis.net. I think O'Mara has got a good future though it really depends on how he progresses in the next few years.

I'm a little disturbed you even had to mention that.
Allan alone is good enough to keep us informed I think.

Btw Ward (Taiwan), Baker (Mexico) and Goodall (Greece) all top seeds in their respective futures this week. You'd hope that at least one of them would be able to win a title. Milton also seeded 4th in China and Fitzpatrick seeded 7th in Greece. Couple of other lads like Smethurst also playing.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?
