Tursunov saves a set point. Has had four game points and double faulted twice in this game. Deuce.

5-5.

Another set point for Dan.

Takes it! Into a 5th.

Wow that was almost from nothing. Tursunov up 30-15, looking fine. I missed that point but Dan hit a good return at 30-30 and Tursunov just looked at it as it bounced past him.. I think he was wrong-footed, it wasn't a blistering shot. Then he hit an UE on set point.

Ach, Tursunov responds well and breaks to 15 at the start of the 5th.

Has two break-back points but can't take advantage.

Evans takes the tie-break to level it up.

He really does play above himself in these ties. Why does he lack the same self-belief on the tour?

What Dan says:

Barry Flatman ‏@Barry_FlatmanST 12m
Dan Evans reveals why he doesn't replicate Davis Cup form every week. "I don't work & train hard enough. I get distracted." Regretable

Painfully honest.

James Ward just taken 1st set v Donskoy 6-4

Ward broke in the first game of every set, and has only been broken once (in the second set, before he promptly broke straight back). Very impressive stuff against the player who blew Murray off the court for a set in Indian Wells.

Typically as I say that Donskoy breaks back in the third. Time to see Ward's resolve. He showed plenty of it at Wimbledon last year. Big set this.

Donskoy takes it 7-5.

Ward 5-4 up in the 5th, on serve. Wish I could watch this, but the official LTA link plays for about 30s before buffering eternally (and on refresh goes back to 30-15 4-4 every time.. bizarre) and there doesn't appear to be any other streams like there was for Evans' match.

Broken at 6-6. Frown

It really is the British way isn't it? Perennial losers, always trying hard, pushing the better player close but ultimately coming up short. Thank god for Murray bucking the trend.
