Yup, another matchpoint brilliantly saved by Wardy, then ....nothing. Apparently Donskoy won  4-6, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 8-6.

Stream had eventually settled down quite well for me, then was rubbish in the last few games again. Same for others I gather.

Russians probably expected a rather easier afternoon, good effort by our lads. Oh well...

Just caught up with the scores. 2 hard fought matches by James and Dan it would seem.

Marray and Fleming in the doubles today to give the lads a fighting chance tomorrow.

Dan Cox playing in Doha futures final today. Having had a horribly injury-hit 2012 he's on the comeback trail, and is the first Brit (besides Murray and Ward) to make a final outside the UK.

Fleming and Marray take first set 6-1. Up 4-2 in second.

6-1, 6-4.

Up 3-0, serving in the third. Stunning rally for the double break, great reflexes from Marray (and Baluda) and great touch from Fleming.

Just caught the last set - which didn't take long! Brilliant!

Last game of Ward v Donskoy yesterday - the two saved match points are amazing

Ward has taken 1st set v Tursonov 6-4.

Impossible to watch on LTA stream though.

Come on Wardy!

Boo - Tursonov takes 2nd set 7-5,  first break point all set I think, though Ward had several.

Russian comms got a tiny bit animated there!

And now Ward breaks! Serving at 1-0 in 3rd set

Tough, Ward broke back at 3-5, held for 5-5, then lost 5-7.

Two DFs from Tursonov, and Ward breaks! Leading 3-1 in 4th
