Wow.

Of course, absolutely worth remembering that Donskoy came from 0-2 down in the first rubber. When Dan beat Klizan last year, Klizan also came from 0-2 down (before Dan found something with himself to play a blinder of a 5th). Still long way from over. But a hell of a lot closer.

That BP he saved down 3-4 proved absolutely huge.

Now Donskoy needs to forget that he can come back from 2 sets down

How are his legs? Does he have the fitness, physically or mentally to do it a second time?

We'll have to wait and see. Donskoy seemed to be going up a level, then Dan broke back.

Dan just won 1st two games of 3rd without dropping a point

10 points in a row.

Three more break points.

Took Donskoy 13 points to win one. Needed an ace. Saves two.

Deuce. Huge game this. I genuinely think a hold here will turn the tide.

But Dan breaks again! 3-0.

2BPs saved by Donskoy.

Donskoy holds. Those were virtual match points. Can Dan see this out?

Difference between two teams at changeover is startling. Leon crouching down, encouraging Dan. Donskoy and his coach just sit in stony silence.

5-1.

That scoreline is incredible. 265 245 ranking places between them, and Evans wins 6-4, 6-4, 6-1.

First time in 83 years GB come from 0-2 down to win.

Struggling to comprehend this. Two magnificent performances from Ward and Evans. So much for perennial losers. Came so close on Friday, then they came out today and go one better. Just stunning.
