I think Neal and Ken will be our new top all-British doubles pairing come the end of 2014. Heard it here first...

A good win for James Ward in Brisbane qualifying, beating 4th seed Stephane Robert 6-2 6-2. Plays Marius Copil next.

Dan Evans beat Michael Shabaz 6-0 6-4 in Doha qualifying. Plays Jan Hernych next.

Kyle Edmund has a wild card into main draw in Chennai, and plays Vasek Pospisil first round. I'd like to see that one!

Colin & Ross play Dimitrov & Chardy in Brisbane. Winners could meet Fed & Mahut in next round!

I think he'll be with Paul Hanley, but they are not playing this week.

John & Jamie are 3rd seeds in Brisbane.

Dan Evans is through to final round of qualies in Doha, beating Jan Hernych 2-6 7-6 6-4. Will play Taro Daniel of Japan in the final round, ranked 238 in the world, nearly 100 places below Evans.

Taro Daniel will be top 100 before the year is out. Big prospect, beat Ward a few months ago as well.

Indeed.  It's great to see him back in action again. Smile

The wins will come Angie.  It's still early days, and it wasn't like he was thrashed.  A respectable score really.

He's not a singles player..
It would still have been nice though if he'd won.
