After reading Andy's comments this week about talking to Tim, I posted the following question on Tim's official website and got another response! Again I'm grinning from ear to ear - as if I couldn't smile any more after last night! I was reading an article this week in which Andy Murray said that after his first round loss at the Australian Open he sat down with his coach and you to discuss his game. Is coaching something you'd like to get into once you've retired? From: Bev Tim says: “I think I definitely have something to give when it comes to passing on the experience I have in the game, and I like to think that I’m always available for those British players to talk to that are just starting out in the game. I know Andy’s coach pretty well and I’ve practised with Andy quite a bit and spent a bit of time with them chatting about various issues, and hopefully that’s helped Andy’s development. Coaching at the highest level on a full-time basis can be very time-consuming and having spent so much of my life on the road it’s not something that I can see myself doing, but there are plenty of other ways and means in which I can still be involved in the game, and that’s certainly something that I want to do as I’m very passionate about it.” I'm telling you, Tim and I are nearly like this!

Thats so cool. I was gonna post a question but I couldn't think of a good one. When you do, give it a try! Think I was just reading something on the beeb and was really taken by what Andy said and thought how nice for Tim to offer input and then the question popped into my head! I really really like Tim as a player and I agree that he has a lot to offer our upcoming British talents!

Tim must be liking you Bev. He's answered 4, I think, of my questions in just over a year. But I really think it's the questions I ask, not that he's liking me, but I can hope can't I!

He answered four!!! he must be remembering you... He tries to answer 5 questions from the public at least every week but doesn't always work that way. Last question he answered from me was at the beginning of the year - I'd asked him what it was like to be back on court after his prolonged absence. If you have a question for him, give it a try, you've nothing to lose!
