Rusedski drops retirement hint

Quote

This is what the headline says when I followed the link to listen to what Greg had to say after his match:

A dejected Greg Rusedski hints he may be thinking of retiring after a comprehensive 6-4 6-4 6-4 defeat at the hands of Marat Safin.

Only 30 seconds worth of video but  shocking will be a sad day when any of our elder statesmen of tennis retire Frown

I really dislike Rusedski. He doesn't behave well on court. So I don't care if he retires, but I think from the moment a player says he's going to retire, it'll take months, no years until they actually do it. Tell me, Henman has been retiring for ages and he's still playing. It's all a lot of bulldog.

I agree that Rusedski is not the best person out there on the courts, but he has done so much for British tennis. He was the first Brit to reach a Grand Slam final in God knows how many years(will try to find it out later). It will a be sad loss, if and when he retires. Frown

But I dont think that he is going to retire any time soon. Smile
