I don't think that she will make a trip to Japan. She was in the alts for a 10K this week and in the alts for a 25K next week. She withdrew from both.
Is it likely that she will make a trip to Japan just because she wants to take part in a 50K where she doesn't have much chance of even making the qualies draw, leave alone the main draw? Nope.
But she may think of practising there and playing in Osaka Mayor's after taking rest for a week.
Playing 50K qualies in the US will not be that great an option either. Although she maybe given a wilcard into the qualies because she is based out there, there's not much chance that she'll win against people ranked in the top 300 and qualify. But yes.... it will be a learning experience in any case.
So her most likely course of action is a trip to Britain, where she
should be given a wild card into the 10K and a wild card into the qualies of the 25K. After that she should skip a week and either participate in Osaka Mayor's or in another 25K in Britain.
It's fun speculating schedules even when there is so little chance that you are correct.
Speaking of Osaka Mayor's....
Can anyone help me by giving me the entry list? It was released on the 11th of September. However, either the site doesn't work, or it doesn't work just on my computer.
In any case, the site should be in Japanese, so one may need to do a bit of blind guessing.
