Good results for Katie and Laura.
Mirza is not playing so well after her famous wedding. Not surprising in a way for the newlywed !

Play only started about 50/55 mins ago. Robson just lost the first set 6-3. Katie O'brien v Anna Smith in a first set tie-breaker.

O'brien lost to someone just about in the top 350 in France ffs.
Watson won in Wrexham and plays somebody outside of the top 600 tommorow haha.

Would have been worse,if it was someone in the top 350 on Easter island.

They've played once before, last July, with Heather winning 6-4 4-6 2-6. Fitzpatrick though is underranked ability wise as she spent about 6 months out injured en of last year/start of this year on top of about 7 months the previous year when she reached a ranking of 318.
Still think Heather should win the match though.

Watson-Broady should be great actually! Is Tara Moore the girl Robson played at Wimbledon?
