Jo Konto takes out the 2nd seed in Lexington. Don't normally post on the lower ranked Women's players but found out the story of her match through @GBTennis' tweets. It made for great reading.
Lexington 50K: Last time I looked, @JoKonta91 was 1-6 1-4 down. Seems she then won 5 games in a row to take the 2nd set v 2nd seed Sema! :-)
Jo's 4-1* up in the 3rd :-) every game seems to be a battle though!
Deuce after deuce after deuce! 68 points played in the JoKo-Sema 3rd set alone so far and they haven't completed 6 games yet!
Lexington ctd: JoKo had saved 12/13 break pts in the 3rd, but her 15th df of the match gives Sema the break back. 90 pts played in 7 games!
Lexington ctd: 2 re-break points for Jo, but Sema holds on then gets another bp herself & another df leaves the 2nd seed serving for it :-(
Lexington ctd: Yes! Jo breaks back for *5-5 in the 3rd! Btw this crazy match has been going for over 3 hrs, temperature above 30C throughout

Lexington ctd: Can you believe it? Jo breaks back *again*! Tiebreak time - anyone care to guess what might happen in that?
Lexington 50K: Yes!! After 3h 22m of battle in the heat, @JoKonta91 beats no. 2 seed Erika Sema JPN WR 126 from 16 14 down, 16 64 76(1) :-)
