Tim Henman into Zagreb Semis

Quote

=D>  mexicanwave Great news for Tim with his win over Andreas Seppi (although we couldn't see the match!) and great news for British tennis.  We do have some great players over here and we should be right behind them, good days and bad days.  Semi's should be on tv tomorrow - can't wait!  goodjob  Nice one Tim!

Karlovic or Koubek - let's start praying that it's not Karlovic!  [-o<

although i think he has a good chance of getting to the finals with either of those players

If he keeps playing well. Have to remember Karlovic is at home and managed to beat Ancic. Could be a bit of a dark horse for Tim. Although wouldn't it be fantastic for the croatians to have a Karlovic Ljubicic Final!

yeah i saw that too.he really did have a bad year last year.im hoping he has a great year this year getting to the quarters or semis in roland garros and the us open and at least the semis in wimbledonm, then he should stop and bow out on a high

That would be fantastic. Really show all of those who say he hasn't got what it takes anymore!

yeah but i think if he has a good year he wont be able to sustain it (ie 2004 compared to 2003) so should finish when hes happy

I agree with you. And I think he would too. I just don't think tht at the moment, considering the career he's had, he doesn't want to end it on this particularly bad note after a year of injury. One last good year, Couple of semi's, final, definately into the sacond week of a slam would be fantastic.
