I can't say im cheering for Gasquet.. because that's being very Tim traitorsish... but for the sake of Richie.. i want him to win. im expecting a tounge from you guys. But I think me and dentie are the only ones backing him.

Dentie can be excused because she's not British and has Gasquet as her avater. But Top Spin!! How can you want Tim, British number one and sole hope at Wimbledon for last ten years to lose. To a frenchmen as well .

Well that's a very fair point Josh.. and i understand if you guys don't understand... But i've always been a fan of Tim.. on this occasion im thinking otherwise.. Basically it's becauise i think Tim's had his moment of glory.. his golden moments. Im not saying that Tim should clear of because of that.. but Gasquet is a young guy.. this is what tennis needs. New people have to beat the former super stars, otherwise it's always the same people getting to top. My reason for wanting Gasquet to win is not because it's something directly towards Tim.. it's towards the game of tennis itself. OK that was very unclear... but what adds to it is that ive known about Gasquet since he was about 14. An old favorite.

Tim was the first tennis player I ever knew and supported him ever since. That was back when I was at primary school and when Wimbledon was on I'd run home to watch it only to watch him, I've it wern't Tim .. I wern't interested lol.
5-4 to Tim and serving for the match.

Yay Tim won 6-4 6-4. Very nailing biting last game though.

Yea it was a bit different for me.. my "tennis bringing up" was a bit more universal... and so all my life i never really got into that patriotic thing.. until Andy came along Andy Roddick was the one in my childhood.. not Tim.

Good job, who has he got in the next round? Marin Cilic - the 17 year old Iain has just mentioned - or Andreas Seppi - either players.
