Yeah, Gasquet was one of only four people to beat Federer this year.

According to Henmans website - 'Tim thinks that Federer is the man to beat in Doha'.
Ahh Tim, you are wonderful Smile

Tim playing 17.30 local time (? is that their time? If so they're 3 hours ahead of us) on Monday 2nd January - good luck Tim!  If the picture of him on his website is current, then he looks in good shape!  crossfingers

Tim beat Richard Gasquet 6-4 6-4 in the opening round of ATP Doha Smile By all accounts he played very well and was able to move around the court in a manner that could match his teenage opponent. Gasquet seemed inconsistent, although he conjured up some wonderful passing shots and his backhand was 'sublime' throughout.
Tim took the first set easily, but the second was a lot scrappier, with mr henman finally sealing the game on his third match point.
Amusingly, Tim started with a double fault and finished with an ace!
Heres to the second round!

(obv. these are not my opinions as I am eurosport deprived, but I thought I'd give a round-up)
