Pubs have changed, it used to be a friendly place, but now I think there is the risk of some drunken idiot starting a fight

True and actually that isn't the main reason why I don't like pubs. I actually don't like the idea of going to a pub because you go there usually for the sake of socialising. If I don't see a clear purpose or outcome for the communication I find the whole experience boring. But thats because I'm a grumpy old git with barely any friends ^^ That may sound a bit stupid as I don't like going out to public events so I'm naturally quite naive about these things.

i agree with u mark i dont really like going out to a pub much either.pretty much the same reasons as well.although i dont mind wee pubs in the country which have just a few locals and a nice atmosphere.clubbing is like my idea of hell.didnmt even like school discos because i hate the music and the dancing.

I will be going to pubs when I get my season ticket at Ibrox. Theres nothing like a pre-match chat with all the fans

Nope...well said Iain
Theres several pubs that only accept Rangers fans to prevent trouble breaking out.

Nice to know there are others out there and I also don't mind pubs too much as long as it isn't busy and you can go outside and just relax in the sun Oh and I forgot to mention another reason I don't like pubs: I just don't like the taste of alcohol although Alcopops are acceptable.

Smoking is horrible. Both my parents are smokers and I hate it. Thankfully it is getting banned in Scotland next year!!!
