I used to go there for the necessary stuff, if my dad had the car. I imagine students would appreciate it, but there isnt one up here so I dont have access to one
Some of the prices are amazing

I go there every week and get chocolate that hasn't been stripped from it's anti-cancer goodness. Hehe, I like it a lot as well of course and you can come across some very strange stuff in that shop.

well i hardly eat any chocolate so i dont feel its that expenisive and i generally buy fair trade bananas and orange juice as well.they dont cost that much more and i actually think they taste better.cant get them in lidl though.edinburgh unis supposed to eb a fair trade university so they try and sell fair trade stuff in the union shops so they have lots of fair trade chocolate out.it would be hard to miss it

anyway its the people like starbucks who take the huge profit when they dont use fair trade stuff so they have to balance up ethical concerns with profit.until theres a general public mood for fair trade then retailers wont cut their share and so fair traed products will generally be more expensive

People who frequently go in there are probably trying to make a statement, "I'm rich and wealthy, take notice, I'm important!"
