I think it was all about the weather conditions and Andrew's raquet. Smile

Yeah it was definitely the weather conditions which made me lose Allan  Whistle

I played really well in the first set and Ifelt that I was coping better with the conditions but my serve let me down in the 2nd and 3rd set.

roflmao Maybe the weather conditions changed and it affected your serve. Wink

Whoa. Mr Hunter is ahead in the showdown of champions now. lol

Speaking of playing tennis, I believe my interclub season starts next Saturday. I have not played probably since March (with the exception of filling in 1 week for the club's winter team and getting royally thumped) and noone has contacted me with details of my team yet. Think I'll have to chase someone up over the next few days. Want to start sorting out team arrangements for next Saturday asap as experience tells me it could be Friday night before I have a team confirmed for Saturday.

Well, there's bad news and good news on my behalf.

The bad - we played a set and Bill bagelled me, the first ever bagel between us. Frown I went for the winners far too early in the match instead of settling in and ended up misfiring almost every single time.

The good - downpour started towards the end of the first set so we abandoned it. Smile Therefore there's no result.

That was unfortunate.

It was indeed, Andrew was getting annoyed and all I was doing was playing the ball back to him as he was making a lot of errors. Stupid rain ranting
