If you could have any car, what would it be? You always seem to be finding cars you desperately want!

Haha so it will change soon then...
I was talking about cars with my tennis coach and this girl I sometimes play with and I was talking about the ones I would like, BMW, Lotus Elise, and she starts chuckling and it turns out that her dad has both a BMV and a Lotus Elise.... If I wasn't so dignified, I'd have begged for her parents to adopt me...

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Mine gets fixed tomorrow. The guy who runs the indoor tennis league nipped out and 'keyed' the bonnet while I was playing doubles. No personal grudge - he was just having a bad day. I spotted him on CCTV and called the cops. He got a police caution and sent me a cheque for £440. Nutter.

George .... moved your CAR post over to here

If you wish. I do, because it’s easy with a Tiptronic .. but it is NOT essential and
I don’t recommend it for girls
!!

Okay George .... I can recognise a wild eyed motor fanatic frothing at the mouth at 100 paces How old is this Boxter and what colour is it?
Quote
Geeeeeee!!!!! I thought you’d never ask. Guess I’m gonna havta getta pic, .. later .. as it’s dinner time and I have to be up bright and early for tennis tomorrow morning ..
It’s midnight blue and a perfect peach. I was very lucky to get it. It’s 2002 with all the options, all-leather, head-rest insignia, plate glass heated rear window (I can hear you going into hysterics already) gear-lever insignia, Sat-Nav display, Bose Sound, 6 deck CD player, and an additional dash-mounted Alpine Sat Nav with a 6” wide-screen (which I’ve had since 1998) with whole screen 3D display, cruise-control, 17” wheels with coloured inserts, which I painted myself, with nail-varnish and real-24ct-gold-leaf and clear size.
Who said I was a fanatic? See! I’m not just frothing at the mouth. I’m an AAArtist toooo!!
Why
do you not recommend it for girls. I was car shopping recently and I think it was the Citroen C4 that was offering Tiptronic and my take on it was that it is just one more thing to go wrong ...
I love Midnight blue ..... how many miles does it have on it?
You need to get that picture up .....

I’m surprised you noticed that. I’m pulling their legs, although Quaker sounds so nervous that the least she has to do the better.
It’s a bit of a racing technique. You don’t only change down to brake. You change down to accelerate too.
It used to be essential as a braking mechanism for going down steep hills in the distant past. My brother-in-law burnt out his brakes in Devon in 1966 and turned his car over with me in it.

So you should be riding a horse.

70,000. Last me a lifetime! I hardly use it. About 1000 a year.
Notice the coloured inserts in the wheels!!

Yeah the latest model’s got wings.
Hope you can afford it, and the petrol.

If you can afford the car, the petrol is not even a consideration ....
