Nope, just mentioned them because they're an oil company Smile

What colour would you get a Land Rover in then?
Black is too professional footballer. Perhaps metallic navy blue with a blue interior, that sort of khaki green they do or maybe the beige/fawn colour, although that doesn't help your clean thing!

Well I'm sad to say I won't be buying a car in black now... everyone agrees silver is the easiest to keep clean but I hate it, so boring. I like grey though and that's probably easy to maintain.

So, are you seriously contemplating buying a car?

See I have no idea what I'd actually want if I was seriously and practically buying a car...but I know all my dream ones

Hold on I thought you found oil or something or other? Aren't you basically the owner of ExxonMobil? Very Happy

Not right now but I do now have an urge to get one when I never did before.

Technically I can afford to buy one but I don't have enough money to justify using so much of it on a car considering how much I like to invest in the stock market. So I'm looking ahead to a couple a years.

I thoght that was what you most probably had in mind.  If you can wait until you're 25 you'll get a much better deal with regard to insurance.  Under 25 the insurance is very expensive, especially on the performance cars.  Also Road Tax is very hefty if you purchase a gas guzzler. And then there's parking if you drive it round the city. You'd be better off taking taxis.  It's different if you live in the country - there's just no option.  It's either have a car or walk.  Smile

I'm a c**t, Elly. You know this to be an established fact. Asking me not to be mean is futile.
