How much does spraying cost and is the spray done well enough so it look like you bought it that colour?
£200-300 ? for a decent spray job (my brothers the car mad one not me...I just absorb what he says
)

Hmm pretty good price if it looks as good as new...
How does this stuff work... does the car go through a machine or is the paint done manually bit by bit?

Oh, think you're right Hazel ..... think it is maual. Thing is, if you take it to a specialist body shop it will come back perfect ..... don't know what the cost would be though.

Well the spray I've been qouted is 1500euros from Ford. They say it will look like their own new cars. Plus its the proper shade of colour that Ford do. I'm sure there are cheaper places available

No, Black is probably the worst colour to keep clean. A little dust and it looks like you've been rallying. I'm going to save up and get mine sprayed next year maybe. I like a metallic blue.
I currently drive a Ford Focus ST
. And love it.
My last car was a performance blue ST with a dreamscience remap and it was the best car that I’ve ever owned.
I’ve now got a Scirocco 2.0 TSi and it has been such a disappointment with regard to handling and performance, all style over substance.
As for my next car I will see how I feel next April, but one thing is for sure it will be always metallic blue

Ford Focus ST aka 'The Asbo' does look pretty cool, it's certainly a car I would consider buying.
In my colour...
Mike, how much did you pay for yours?
