lol I exaggerated, it's not quite like that.

Basically my job has ended after a year and a half (fixed term contract not renewed due to restructure) and with unfortunate timing at the same time my landlords (couple who own the house and live in it too) have decided to move in with family and rent out their whole house in order to save for their wedding and an overseas trip. "Homeless" as in unable to look for a new permanent place to live due to unemployment, but am moving temporarily to the girlfriend's place on Saturday for a couple of months (deadline I've set for finding a new job here - if not then I'll move back to the parents in Auckland) and will basically be living out of a suitcase with all my stuff in storage.

That's a Big Issue to sort out.

I've finished my third year of university and am also seeking seasonal employment until September. Turns out that it would be easier to find a black man with ginger hair.

Jeez Alex, that is crap Frown  Least you have somewhere to stay in the meantime rather than having to result to moving back to the parents.  Try and stay positive with the job hunt, I know how tough it is.

Hmmm Andrew have you concider bookies?  I know I've complained about working there but they usually pay good money and lots of hours, especially in the summer.  Tis a good student job.

Nope, not really - would they really offer seasonal work? Surely it's quiet right now with the football being inactive?

Chances are I'll go back to where I was last year.

Andrew, if you're not too fussy about the type of job you're looking for then Millie's Cookies in Glasgow Central Station have just put a sign in their window advertising for Summer staff, maybe you'd get free cookies thrown in.  w00t It must have just gone in today as I didn't notice it yesterday.

Well Amy- backs still bad, benefits have been stopped but just onto a 20 week waiting list for the pain clinic so no idea what I'm doing Frown However, on plus 2 of my oldest best friends are now married which means I have 3 more to go over the next month and a bit Smile

Andrew, I kept an eye out for jobs being advertised in windows on my walk from Glasgow Central to Queen Street and you could be a kitchen hand for Miss Cranstons Bakery.  Little tongue man
