Yeah.. the one in Barbados was a bit iffy and niffy too.  Not at all like the Woolies I remember as a kid, when you used to be able to get everything under the sun.  I also remember my mum always buying a pound of broken biscuits!

I remember the one in Edinburgh, and it had a nice restaurant too!  It also had the till things that scooted up in a lift and came back down again with your change!  Fascinating...  Now I feel really old  Frown

I was sitting waiting in my doctor's office today, reading a glossy magazine.  It took a while to sink in, but I started to think it was a bit snobby..all French la-de-la designer ****.
Then I saw the prices were in UK pounds.
Don't miss that pretentious crap now I live in Canada.

Some of the clubs over here are quite insane.

Going out back home used to be quite boring but you knew you were going to be OK.

I am NEVER drinking again.

Pubs in our town are quite boring mid-week. Been kicked out of one at 9.30 because it was closing blink We'd only been out an hour and a half!
