James, I'm throwing down the gauntlet. I've heard you're a whippet around the court.
I challenge you to a tennis match.
How does a best of three set match in Gorbals sound, next month?
For you, it's a train to Argyll Street from Hamilton West, and then a short journey to Bridge Street on the underground from St Enoch.
Bring it on, you big heathen, you.

I haven't played much tennis this year. I'm on low impact exercise until I get my arthritis more under control. Tempting offer, though.

I'll be the old line judge who shouts 'out' when it's really in. Will there be a hawkeye?

You're quite good though, you play all sorts of racquet sports. I'll give you a game if you want one though.
Just sick of beating Julia these days, fancy playing someone new.

No idea. It might not necessarily be a matter of "when" I can play tennis again. I need to see how the Humira works for me, assuming I get to go on that drug. Technically, I can still play tennis and run around the court. It's just bad for my joints.

Sorry I am unbeaten at table tennis, try again.
This is an awesome idea, so many folk here have easy access to Glasgow! I think we should do a round robin

I LOVE that people assume I am good at tennis
It's by far my weakest of the 4 sports, despite playing it the longest!
