So, do you have an official rating? Sounds to me like you are going to swat James aside with one backhand volley!!
Official? No. I never bought a USTA membership and I don't play in their tournaments. My league had different ratings.

Daisy, I can't help but notice how often you ask and how little you tell.
I want to know your marital status, and some of your life stories.
NOW.
You're cracking me up .... but you are soooooooo cute ...
Not only that, I don't think I really ask anything which is personal .... only based on what someone has just posted, so I have to assume they are interested in talking about it ...

So how do you think your league ratings compare with the USTA Ratings?

Lower, probably. We do out of 10, also.

So, what can James expect when you turn up with your racquet in your hand .... a "5" ..."6" .... she should be getting anxious right about now ...

I should be getting anxious if James is a 'she'.
I don't know, I'm really not that good of a singles player. Maybe a 5. Definitely not more than that.

Maybe he's a drag queen .... got the right voice for it ...
Sock it to him .... show him who's boss! But bring your thermals if you're planning to play tennis in Scotland.

Nah, we're not going to play tennis. This is going to be a vacation for me, no work.

You're NOT going to play tennis. I thought that was why he was buying a new racquet and even talking about taking lessons ... tennis isn't work .... it's fun fun fun ....

Not for me, he wasn't. At least I don't think that's why James wanted to. He probably did it because he had a sucky racquet and wanted to beat his friend Ronnie (not to be confused with me, because no one is allowed to call me Ronnie).
Tennis is work when you know that if you lose, your opponent will constantly tease you on an Internet forum about it.

Ah ... I thought you and he and Andrew and Julia were all going to have a game.
Which opponent is going to tease you? Someone at school?
