Derren Brown will do a stunt on his new live TV show that will apparently immobilise TV viewers.

The second show is a piece of media that will be played to the viewing nation and will have the effect of rendering them immobile. Not all of them, but it will stick a lot of people to their seat.

It's safe and it won't work on everybody, but it's taking what I do one-on-one with people onstage and turning it into a piece of technology that can then be broadcast. That has never been done before.

If viewers' TVs happened to break, or I died suddenly, after a few minutes people would be able to stand up again.

Derren Brown: The Event Live airs Wednesday, September 9 on Channel 4.

Derren Brown: How to Control the National airs on Friday, September 18, on Channel 4 (this is the episode where he will do the stunt).

The actual prediction will happen on Wednesday, before the numbers are announced. The explanation will be on Friday.

I'm pretty sure he won't be predicting the lottery (impossible). He'll probably just do something clever with a clever explanation.

So he's going to predict the numbers on Wednesday and then let us know them on Friday??? Hmmm. Pretty sure I could do that too. lol

That doesn't make sense... he said he would predict the numbers live... if we were to predict the numbers live on Wednesday then people could still buy tickets and then use his prediction. It's got to be done shortly before the balls are known...

Indeed, I know how to spell it hence how I've spelt it correctly in the first post, must have been some typo due to rushing.
