I just lost the plot .... it's been a while.  I actually started again today and then got sidetracked chatting to Yamor about the "oldies" in the game .....

Yeah, there is a plot to lose. It become quite entangled, as well.

Okay .... I'm caught up.  I'd like to know why the hero was turned down for ordination in the C of E.

Right. That’s coming at length in spades, in “Part 2: George”.  At present you are reading “Part 1: Jill”.  Part 2 covers the ground covered in Part 1, but as seen through George’s eyes.

I'm enjoying this George - maybe I shouldn't be "enjoying" someone else's misfortune .... 

The book isn’t actually about someone else’s misfortune, but about someone else exposing, for a very particular reason, the treacherous way he was treated, which you might be able to guess at the beginning, for certain reasons, but will certainly discover at the end, when it will come as a very big surprise, if you haven’t worked it out already.

Well it’s going to get much more involved and hopefully intriguing. In fact I’m a bit worried that everybody is going to find it so atrociously intriguing that their eyes are going to pop out.

- better than any soaps which I don't watch anyway.

I think we can safely say that fact is stranger than fiction.
