Do England as a nation have any traditions?

I was trying to think of some but maybe someone else could help.

It seems Scotland, Wales and Ireland all have their own traditions. (dances, festivals, music) etc etc.

But do the english have any of that?

The English dont actually consume the most tea in the world. The Irish actually drink more tea.  Wink

A few months ago there was a lot of hype about a "A Portrait Of England" or something like that, here are a few things that I remember....


Hans Holbein's famous portrait of Henry VIII.

Routemaster. ( I dreamt of travelling in one since I was about seven. Frown)

The FA Cup.

Spitfire.

Stonehenge.


There were obviously a few more but I'll check it out later.
