Where did you go? And with the amount of swimming I do, I can barely keep up with my homework...

I'm sure you'll be a massive success wherever you go
You seem really dedicated and able to hold down academic work on top of extra-curricular stuff, even when it's tough. That's a brilliant thing to be able to do, especially when you actually get to uni, and when you're applying, unis will love that
It's all about what you make of the experience
(Patronising rant over now, apologies.... *ahem*)

Definitely consider Oxbridge... i completely brushed off even attempting to get in when i was doing ucas cause i thought i'd never get in/it would be too hard to get in. But one of my best friends is at Oxford now and i've been to visit and it just seems amazing - totally wish i'd applied when i had the chance.

And don't go thinking that there's a particular 'type' of Oxbridge person, because it's all lies. I was told by a drama/dancing teacher that I had out of school that I wasn't the Oxbridge 'type'...well boll**ks to that.

The main thing to remember is that what ever uni you go to you will have a brilliant time!
It's just important to know what kind of person you are... 4 of my close friends went to Oxbridge, they hardly see each other and say the stress level is like the day before an exam but every day which I know I couldn't handle. Uni can shape the person you develop into and for me it was about finding a brand new social, fun, lively city. The likes of St Andrews and Oxford don't offer enough of that for me.

Better degree from Oxbridge, but agreed, probably more time in the books than in the pub. I couldn't do it.
