I should point out, it's not marked in quite the same way as a uni degree - i.e. at my undergrad uni, no-one ever got above about a 76, unless their work was of publishable standard. Whilst not exactly common, 82% on this course isn't quite as earth-shattering as it might sound to those used to ordinary uni marking - although it's a mark that I'm very very very happy with! I would say that maybe an 86-90 is equivalent to a 76?
Surely it depends entirely on the subject and the marking in question?! I mean, you can't mark calculation papers down due to your opinion on the answer. It's either right or wrong.

Ok fine. For my undergrad degree, there was an amount of interpretation, so 76 was an amazing mark. For this, there was a definite right answer, but the amount of information you put in varied, so 86-90 would be an amazing mark. Happy?

My exams results email from the SQA seems to have gone awol so it looks like I'll have to wait until it comes in the post tomorrow.
Though I think I can check my UCAS Track thing from midnight.

Do you know what you're getting for your birthday? Are you having a celebration?

Hold on there! Allan you're 18! These results surely determine your uni place? I always imagined you to be more than a year younger than me

A part from a Blackberry phone, which I got a few weeks ago. I don't know.
