Saw a horrific photo of a guy who had both legs blown off being wheeled away in a wheelchair. Another guy was literally holding onto the arteries that were hanging out to stop the blood, and the tendons were getting caught up in the wheels. He must he been standing right next to the bomb. Going to have nightmares about that photo for a while I think.

Saw this at work today. One of those photos which makes your arse clench.

Yes I noticed. Some of these news organisations are getting into a deep pit of water with these false reports. Absurd.

That photo is in the newspaper here today although fortunately they have only showed the top half of it. The guy looks amazingly calm in the photo which I guess is due to being in shock, but apparently he was able to spell his name out to the ambulance officers.

I always avoid looking at such photos because I have no desire to sicken myself and quite frankly abhor the media's obsession with letting the world at large seeing gory details of bomb victims or whatever.  We all have imaginations so don't need it rammed down our throats.

How is it rammed down our throats? The gory images from the Boston bombings were only available if you went looking for them, and even then you were warned that the image was graphic. It's up to people's disgression if they choose to look at them or not.

There's this photo on the internet of a guy with his leg completely blown off and all you can see is a bloodied bone.

Unfortunately, I had to see those photos all over my Facebook feed. Don't understand why people feel compelled to post that kind of stuff on their Facebook.

And the wacky conspiracy theories come out. Rolling Eyes

To be honest I didn't realise I was going to see something quite like the photo I mentioned before. I went to a link from another forum which the person just said were "more photos." Not sure I'd have intentionally looked for it if I'd known it was a full frontal shot of a guy with both legs blown clean off.
