1,000 NYPD officers investigating. This is widespread, I fear the worst.

What is wrong with you? Almost every time i see one of your comments on here you are spouting nothing but antagonistic drivel. Whilst you may not agree with a lot of the things that other members say, you really don't have to go out your way to disagree with EVERYTHING they say.
Apparently because she knows people there and might have been there herself, it gives her the right to attack everyone who passes on reports from the media.

I remember I was nasty to everyone who discussed the London terrorist attack because I knew people taking the Tube that day and I could have easily taken it on that day going into Uni. Oh wait, no I don't.

Not meaning to go all V on your ass but you're sounding a little sensationalist at the moment? Smile

Funny - it is what's most closer to home that winds you up.  Just the way it is.

Gangsta,I don't mean this in a nasty way,not at all-but I feel really uncomfortable with that. This isn't a "good news story" or "something to get your teeth into". A great book that you can't put down is something to get your teeth into. This is a tragedy,a terrible tragedy that's really affecting so many people.

Be careful, that's a pretty insensitive thing to say and will upset some people. I do though perhaps understand what you're trying to say with the 24/7 news world we live in making these events feel like a movie.

Yes, sorry wrong words for it. It's something that has me concerned I should say. Sorry Dani, I understand what you are saying, I wasn't aiming to sound insensitive, in fact the opposite, as if I care about the story, which I do.

Any act of terrorism is hideous.  Any person who feels involved has a right to speak.

I'm a news junkie myself, I do get that it's exciting and in fact that is the aim of the news channels. I often have to forcefully remind myself these tragedies are real.

It really is a case of religion makes good people do bad things. Or I would say, one particular religion but let's not go there.

The fire at the library has been confirmed as a technical fire. The police commissioner seemed to get as excited as us.
