On the last page. You said you believe what sounds good and try to find evidence to support it. In essence, you don't care about what's actually true.
Can you not possibly decipher something from that and what I said?

^^Well I predict every procedure prior to any cause is inevitably due to free will.

Rather truncated I agree but just as valid as your "Do you understand what I am saying yet?"
Because someone disagrees with you does not mean they do not understand what you are saying.
It means they are disagreeing with you.

He said he didn't understand. Had nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing.

Don't get disheartened, Clydey. Perhaps you can explain the experimental procedure and evidence that persuades you every action is inevitably and uniquely predicated on a prior cause.

Disheartened? Frustrated with stupidity would be more accurate.

And it's a philosophical question. I have already explained the logic, yet you don't seem capable of grasping it. I don't know how to put it any simpler.

You seem to think choice and free will are the same thing.

There probably would be some progress if more people like Scotnadian were involved in the discussion, instead of morons who think we choose our genes before we're born. Fucksake.

So your proposition that free will is an illusion is untestable? There is no measurable evidence that it is so?

I'm not sure why that's relevant. There have been experiments done that show decisions being made before the person is conscious of it, so there is supporting evidence.

I'm using an irrefutable logical argument, though. The empirical evidence exists, but it's superfluous. The logic gets you there on its own.

And you still haven't given me an example of a choice you could make that would suggest you have free will.
